About New Balance
New Balance was founded in 1906 as the "New Balance Arch Support Company" by the British William J. Riley. Initially providing customized designs for athletes, it evolved into the creation of the first running shoe in 1960, the "Trackster", which became iconic. In 1972, Greek-American Jim Davis purchased the company, while his wife, Anne, began developing the company's culture. New Balance products were very successful in the '80s, enhancing their technology and quality. Their partnership with Liverpool in 2015 and other athletes made the company even more famous.
