  Clean your adidas sneakers in 4 simple steps!

Step 1

Remove the laces from your sneakers and soak them in water with a little bit of cleaning solution.

Step 2

Clean the upper of your sneakers with a soft brush and water with a little soap, and scrub gently, focusing on the stains. Then, wipe them thoroughly with a microfiber towel.

Step 3

Brush the outsole with a stiffer brush and a little water with cleaning solution.

Step 4

Let your sneakers dry naturally at room temperature, avoiding direct exposure to the sun, so that they retain their colour and shape. Remember that you need to dry your sneakers very well before wearing them, which may take more than a day. 

Special instructions for different shoes

• Running shoes: Use mild soap (e.g. dish soap) with a little water, and use a soft brush to clean your trainers, focusing on the upper part where sweat accumulates. Remove the insoles, if they're removable, and clean them separately.

• Suede: Never use water. Use a special suede brush or eraser, brushing in the same direction to avoid altering the texture. For stubborn stains, you can use a little white vinegar, and use a soft cloth to gently scrub the area.

• Football shoes: Wash the laces and insoles separately. Then, air them thoroughly and stuff them with a newspaper or paper to maintain their shape.

Extra notes for extra freshness

• Never use the washer and dryer to clean your sneakers, to avoid wear and tear.

• For white shoes, it is advisable to clean them more often to avoid permanent stains.

• Remember to store your adidas shoes in a dry and shady place, and not near heaters or directly in the sun.
