Black Friday!

Black Friday is the day following Thanksgiving in the United States. November 4th means… The Start of Christmas season!

Originally, the word "Black Friday", or Black FriYay, came from Philadelphia, where it began with a negative meaning in 1961. It came from a Thanksgiving incident. Police in the US named it the day "Black Friday" to describe the vehicles that did not allow pedestrians to move freely.
A day dedicated to SALE? Yes!

So the years went by… The US introduced Black Friday as a culture for retailers. This "famous" concept has made a profit worldwide. The deals go from "in the red" to "in the black".

This global phenomenon, one would say, has gone through both Western culture and around the world with Black Friday becoming the Favorite "F" word!
