The two made a splashy entrance into the market with a huge ad campaign, which included a bold sign in New York's Times Square, announcing Hilfiger as the new powerhouse in American fashion. Since then, the brand has become known for the high quality of its products, which combine comfort and style. Its lines, Tommy Hilfiger and Tommy Jeans, offer stylish and comfortable clothing to people around the world. The company's real takeoff came in the 90s, when hip hop culture embraced the brand's oversized clothing. One of the most notable moments was when Snoop Dogg wore an oversized Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt during his appearance on Saturday Night Live in March 1994, which sent sales skyrocketing. After this successful start, the brand went on to star with several collections including Hilfiger Collection, Tommy Hilfiger Tailored, as well as men's, women's and children's clothing, jeans, accessories and shoes.
